"Patriot" Soldiers with C Company, 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, left Forward Operating Base Torkham, Afghanistan, for a dismounted patrol, Nov. 18, 2013, that took them over some mountains to an Afghan Border Police checkpoint a couple kilometers away near the village of Goloco.
